Guided visits and tours
Being in love with Venice and its art, Tudy Sammartini has worked as a tour guide since 1969 to provide the unique opportunity of discovering its secret corners in this special city of the lagoon.
Since 1997 her activities were promoted by reviews and periodicals such as: Harpers Bazar, Connaisseur, Departures, and her endeavours were mentioned in Birnbaum’s, The New York Times, Geo Season, and Le Monde.
She has dedicated her knowledge and skills to restoring a number of gardens in the Veneto region, the Borders of Scottland, for Orticola, the Gardens of Padova, Genova, Sanremo, Florence, Cremona, Lecce, Siena, Espaces Verts et Arts des Jardins in Bruxelles, the Fai, Dimore Storiche, Amici dei Musei, and R.I.B.A.
She now hosts and organises guided tours of islands, palaces, and private gardens of Venice for small groups who want to learn about local historical anecdotes and hidden parts of the city. Having had an international education, Tudy Sammartini works as a tourist guide giving talks in Italian, English and French.
