Venice by Tudy Sammartini:
The city like you’ve never seen it before.
Tudy Sammartini (born in Pieve di Soligo, 1931) has actively worked for years on the study of Venice and its lagoon. From an enhanced knowledge of Venice’s art and history and through her research of its archived documents, she has been directly involved in the preservation of its monuments and the restoration of its historic gardens.
Since 1984, she has curated a number of exhibitions showing the work of Ugo Sissa, and she now works as a tour guide in Venice, specialising in visits to secret gardens and distinct places that are rarely seen or visited by mass tourism.
